We decided to explore Timor Leste, and this guide was really helpful in navigating through such an underrated destination. It covered some cool local spots, and we got to see the real side of the country. More tips on transport between regions would be useful, though, as it was a bit tricky getting from one place to another.
Backpacking through Southeast Asia with this guide was unforgettable. From Indonesia hopping to exploring the beaches of Malaysia, it felt like the guide was custom-made for our style of travel. A small improvement would be adding more options for long-term stays, we struggled a bit to find recommendations for budget-friendly accommodations in the more remote areas.
As a couple looking for a relaxed vacation, we focused on Malaysia. This guide helped us find both hidden gems and the popular attractions. We loved the cultural insights, though we found a couple of the city routes a bit hectic. Otherwise, everything was top, and the food stops were delightful.
We took the overland route through Southeast Asia using this guide, and it was amazing! One thing , I got a little sick from some street food in Penang maybe add a caution or suggestion for safer eating options next time
